Chiropractic is the branch of physical medicine that focuses on musculoskeletal and nervous system disorders. As doctors of chiropractic we specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of joint, nerve, muscle, and soft tissue disorders. We use joint manipulation (aka “adjusting”) of the spine and extremities to restore motion and flexibility allowing for proper biomechanic function.
Active Release Technique® (ART) is what makes us different than other healthcare offices. ART is a patented, movement based soft tissue technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee pain, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. Many conditions treated in our office have one major thing in common – they largely result from overused muscles.
